Elixir is not a stronger Sauvage; it is a different reading of it. The citrus opening is there for about a minute before spice takes over — cinnamon, nutmeg, and a liquorice note that lands somewhere between sweet and medicinal. Underneath sits a sandalwood and vetiver base heavy enough that one spray on a coat will still be there the next morning. Dior's own guidance is one to two sprays, and that is not marketing modesty. Three is too many.
